Donating baby food directly is a true hands on way to make a difference. Whether you want to donate a few jars, or run a baby food drive in your local school, social group, or religious organization, we want and need your help.
How can a handful of people make a difference?
A few months ago a couple of local people decided they wanted to help, and arranged with their church to do a short presentation, and set up a crib in the lobby of their church. Each week, when parishioners came to mass, they brought a few jars of food and placed it in the crib. At the end of the day, the food was boxed up and delivered to three local shelters, housing 30+ children. Single handedly, these two wonderful individuals have been making weekly food deliveries and caring for dozens of children.
Imagine if we had 100 people like that....how many thousands of children would have a better life as a result?
Gina Kelly and Kara Frankian got their 2nd grade class at Floral Street School to pass out flyers and run a baby food drive. They raised close to 1000 jars of food in three days.
A young 3rd grader at Spring St School in Shrewsbury decided to make this a class project. 2 Days later, they had collected 2500 jars of food.
Ellen Mulroy decided to put a sign in front of her dental office to run a baby food drive. Within a week, she had over 1000 jars of food ready to go for those in need.
YOU can make the difference, and we'll walk you through it from beginning to end.
